Edinburgh-based
Valley Technology Ltd is due to launch “The POD Father”, the
pay-as-you-go Proof-Of-Delivery system, at the Hillhead 2007 show in
Derbyshire between June 26th and 28th.
The POD Father is a new software system that is designed to alleviate the problems faced by many haulage, merchant, and plant hire companies due to having to process paper delivery tickets as part of their invoicing process.
Taking job details from existing company systems, The POD Father maps jobs to delivery driver handhelds. Completed details, including an electronic customer signature, are then available via The POD Father website, or for download to permit further system integration. A customisable web portal is provided, giving companies the ability to offer their customers access to their delivery notes online.
